Vespers Service – 12-6-2026

Once again this year the Clermont Historical Society will hold its annual Christmas Service at the Union Sunday School in Clermont 12-6-2026 at 4:30 p.m. Join us for a service of organ music, singing, and ecumenical programming.
The Union Sunday School (located at the corner of Larrabee Street and McGregor) was originally built as a Presbyterian Church in the early 1860s. By the 1870s the congregation had shrunk and it was decided to let the organization known as the Union Sunday School operate out of the building, which it did for the next 90 years.
A Christmas Eve program was held at the Union Sunday School every year starting in the 1870s. We continue this tradition by having our Vespers Service and handing out small goodie bags as would have been done 150 years ago.
