An annual tradition kept alive at the Union Sunday School for over 100 years

CLERMONT- What a wonderful way to usher in the Spirit of Christmas by attending the traditional Vesper Service at the Union Sunday School, December 2nd at 4:30 in Clermont. The traditional Vesper Service has been held at the Union Sunday School for over a hundred years, with the Clermont Historical Society putting on the service since the 1960s.

As you enter the Union Sunday School, choose an ornament to place upon the community Christmas tree. Pastor David Coffin (Elgin Lutheran Church) will give the invocation, and the benediction. Pastor Rob Roberts (East Clermont Lutheran Church) will give the sermonette. Special Music provided by the North Fayette Valley Band Ensemble directed by Jen Bliven. Scripture will be read by multiple North Fayette Valley students. Guest organist will be Carol Katsumes. She will play the Organ Prelude and Postlude. Audience members will participate in singing traditional Christmas carols, including the “Song of the Pines”.
There is no admission charge and everyone is invited to attend!
