The Fayette County Substance Abuse Coalition (FCSAC) was established in 2003 after the growing concerns regarding methamphetamine. Since then, the coalition has diligently strived to raise awareness on alcohol, tobacco and other drugs by educating the public on these issues. Over the years, the coalition has sponsored methamphetamine forums, alcohol awareness forums, newspaper campaigns, and radio campaigns. The coalition has also participated in health fairs and community events. The mission statement of the Fayette County Substance Abuse Coalition is, “To educate and inform about the dangers of substance abuse in our communities, and to promote healthy lifestyle choices for everyone in Fayette County.”

4-H Boys   “The Clermont Comets”

Larrabee Foundation

Clermont Neighborhood Watch

Place:  Larrabee Building
Time:  6:30 p.m.  Clermont Neighborhood Watch has 13 Block Captains and we are always looking for more.  Neighborhood Watch is part of a nationwide program whose purpose is to provide an organized means by which our citizens can work with the police department in reducing crime and providing for a safer community.  Projects have included neighborhood watch signs posted at each entrance into Clermont and town wide informational meetings.

Girl Scouts

Meeting times vary.  Open to girls K-12.  “Family Style” approach incorporated for daisy, brownie, jr., cadet, and senior levels.  Sponsor “Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat”  with proceeds going to the Fayette County  Food Shelf.

 

Town and Country

Studies the makings of the holistic woman involving politics, health, recreation, craft, family, and service to the community.  Provides benches around areas in town and sponsors.  Golden Age Tea.  Meet 4th Thursday of the month at 6:30 in members’ homes.

 

Tre Ore
